Our Kids' Class Membership is segmented into two age-specific groups:
CrossFit Rookie (Ages 5-10): Classes are scheduled Monday through Thursday at 4:30 PM.
- Introduction to Movement: Teach fundamental movements like squats, lunges, and push-ups through engaging activities.
- Skill Development: Develop coordination, balance, and agility through games and drills.
- Weightlifting Basics: Introduce lightweight objects or PVC pipes to teach basic weightlifting movements like the overhead press or front squat.
- Sports Integration: Introduce activities that mimic movements found in various sports, promoting overall athleticism.
- Play-Based Learning: Structure workouts as playful activities to stimulate imagination and foster a love for fitness.
- Safety and Technique: Teach proper mechanics under close supervision to prevent injury.
CrossFit JV (Ages 11-15): Classes are scheduled Monday through Thursday at 5:30 PM.
- Building Foundation: Strengthen functional movements with structured workouts, progressively increasing intensity.
- Strength and Conditioning: Introduce strength training and conditioning exercises suitable for their age and developmental stage.
- Skill Refinement: Refine technique in more complex movements such as pull-ups and rope climbs, preparing for heavier loads.
- Weightlifting Progression: Incorporate lightweight barbells or dumbbells to teach proper form in weightlifting movements like the clean, jerk, and snatch, focusing on technique over heavy loads.
- Sport-specific Training: Integrate drills and exercises to enhance skills applicable to individual or team sports.
- Teamwork and Competition: Foster sportsmanship through partner workouts and friendly challenges.
- Goal Setting: Encourage setting personal fitness goals and tracking progress.
- Nutrition and Recovery: Provide education on nutrition and recovery strategies to support athletic performance and overall health.
Billing & Commitment:
The membership is billed on a 4-week cycle. There is no long-term commitment required, offering flexibility for families.
